Aloysius Tamba Foryoh
Aloysius Tamba Foryoh is an inspiring and accomplished leader who has made significant contributions in the fields of Civic Leadership, Social Entrepreneurship, and Digital Technology. As the Co-founder and Executive Director of the Sierra Leone Model African Union, he has played a pivotal role in establishing an African Union youth simulation and diplomatic leadership institute. Through this platform, Aloysius has provided young people with opportunities to engage in critical discussions and develop their leadership skills.
In addition to his work with the Sierra Leone Model African Union, Aloysius is also the Co-founder and Executive Director of the Global Youth Network for Peace. This membership association of youth-led peacebuilding initiatives has been instrumental in fostering sustainable peace at local, national, regional, and global levels. Aloysius’s dedication to peacebuilding has helped create a network of over 57 youth-led groups committed to building lasting peace in their communities.
With five years of professional experience in project management, advocacy, and strategic communication, Aloysius has proven his ability to effectively lead and coordinate initiatives. Currently serving as the Advocacy and Communication Coordinator at Rainbo Initiative, he continues to make a positive impact in his role.
Aloysius is widely recognized in Sierra Leone for his creativity in youth event hosting and management. His passion for blogging has allowed him to share thought-provoking commentaries on social issues at both national and global levels. Through his writings, he inspires readers to think critically and take action towards creating positive change in society.
As a convener of several youth-led platforms and initiatives, Aloysius has demonstrated his commitment to empowering young people and providing them with opportunities for growth and development. Some notable events he has organized include the National Youth Roundtable Dialogue on the State of Youth in Sierra Leone, the High-Level Dialogue on Gender Parity in the Workplace, the Annual National Youth Conference on Peace and Development, and the National Youth Leadership Summit.

He is a member of the League of Digital Finance Professionals, the League of Gender Equality Changemakers, ITrainAfrica, and the International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC)2.
